North Korea reacts to UK sanctions

United States and United Kingdom threaten new sanctions against Belarus
London, Aug 9 (EFE) – The British government announced Monday a package of economic sanctions against Belarus in response to human rights violations in that country and the democratic weakness of the regime of Alexandr Lukashenko.
The sanctions include preventing Belarusian airlines from landing or flying over British territory and also a ban on supplying technical assistance to President Lukashenko’s fleet of luxury aircraft.
The UK had already imposed sanctions on several Belarusian officials last June following the arrest of journalist Roman Protasevich after the plane he was traveling on was diverted to Belarus.EFE
